Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting)
• Assist with mobility support, transfers, and positioning
• Support meal preparation, feeding assistance, and light housekeeping
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Follow care plans, ensure safety, and use assistive equipment properly.
• Maintain timely documentation and communication
• Uphold ethical, confidentiality, and infection control standards.

Job Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Minimum of 1 year of previous caregiving experience (home care, facility, or hospital settings)
• Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written)
• Mobile Phone - for scheduling & communication
• Current documentation required:
  • TB screening test
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Search required)
  • Up to date Vaccination
• Preferred Qualifications (Assets, Not Mandatory):
  • BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry Number
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • International or domestic experience as a Physician, Medical Doctor, Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN)
  • Other experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
