Key Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands.
• Support client engagement through conversation, hobbies, and activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social events.
• Ensure client safety and well-being while maintaining a comfortable environment.
• Maintain timely documentation, communication, and uphold ethical, confidentiality, and infection control standards.

Job Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with seniors
• Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written)
• Mobile Phone - for scheduling & communication
• Current documentation required:
  • TB screening test
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Search required)
  • Up to date Vaccination
• Preferred Qualifications (Assets, Not Mandatory):
  • BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry Number
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • International or domestic experience as a Physician, Medical Doctor, Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN)
  • Other experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
